Seventy-five years ago, “Pepperidge Farm” products were born when Margaret Rudkin —  a Connecticut mother who began experimenting with baking her own preservative-free bread for her son who suffered from allergies — sold the first “official” loaf of Pepperidge Farm bread to a local grocer.

As Pepperidge Farm prepares to celebrate its 75th anniversary this August 15th, the brand is saying “thank you” to its biggest fans by gifting five winners with a basket full of Pepperidge Farm goods, complete with new products and old favorites.
