I first discovered the Melitta cone system back in the ’70s and was impressed by how much better coffee tasted when it was made by the drip filter method, compared to the percolator method I’d been using up till then.

Since then, a whole slew of automatic drip coffee makers have come on the market, and I confess, I allowed myself to be wooed away from the classic simplicity of Melitta.

But I’m now willing to be wooed back.

The first time I had ever heard of Melitta was many years ago when my grandfather brought home a cone and Melitta coffee for my grandmother to try. I’ll never forget it.

Melitta USA is headquartered in Clearwater, Florida and the coffee beans are roasted in Cherry Hill, NJ. Nice to know we are supporting these locations when we purchase Melitta products.

I won this and I am so happy… I usually use a one cup coffee maker, but not after using Melitta’s Porcelain Cone and coffee… I feel that now my cup of coffee is perfect, and even taste like it was brewed in a coffee shop!
