I would love to try Eagle Mills Ultragrain White Whole Wheat, I just tried KA brand and had decent results (I bake primarily whole grain and seed sour dough breads…diabetic) and have never tried Eagle Mills products. Around here (CT) I find KA, Bob’s Red Mill (good stuff) of course Gold Medal, Whole Foods can be your friend when you have to watch carbs and increase fiber protein.
Yeay…Thank you we will definetely enjoy it…specially that I am on vacation… 😀
I wanted to thank you guys, I was sent a 5 pound bag of the Ultragrain White Whole Wheat. I made a white whole wheat sourdough loaf, great taste, rise was outstanding and even my non-whole wheat liking brother was impressed. (plenty of flavor, overnight ferment, then controlled rise and finally free formed and then baked with steam at 500 for 10min. and 35 more at 400, great blistered hard crust!)
Thanks again guys, I will order now after having tried the product, great stuff
My cousin found a bag of this flour and it makes exceptional rolls. Unfortunately she was away from home when she bought it and we cannot find it in any stores locally.
Michelle, if you share the zip code of where you are looking for the flour – someone from the company will let you know if it’s available in your area.. and where. BTW It’s also available online. Bonnie – the zip code of where we are looking for the flour is 19703. And I’ll be sure to enter the giveaway. Thanks for the response.
I would suggest Turkey Hill in Landenberg, PA. Kroger store have the product under their brand, but with the Ultragrain logo. It’s 100% Ultragrain so you can use it as is in whole wheat recipes to change the taste, texture and appearance, or blend it with refined flour. Let me know if you find it, and please “Like” us on FaceBook!

I am a fan of the white whole wheat ultra grain, used with some sourdough starter and chia seeds in the water (and some added bran) it is amazing how I can now eat delicious bread without the sugar spike I used to get with purchased bread (I’m diabetic and have been experimenting with various combinations to get a high protein, high fiber to compensate for the carb load)I haven’t tried it yet for quick breads but I will be using it in combo with spelt and some oat flour in experiments.
like the texture of white wheat flour
I wasn’t aware of Eagle Mills flour until I saw your giveaway. I would love to try it!
