I love, love and more love Beans. My maiden name was Bean so I don’t even have a choice about loving Beans. I probably am related to Bruce and we Beans stick together. lol. I would really like some more ideas on cooking them.
I love growing all kinds of beans in our garden. I’ve grown some dry beans, but prefer to grow fresh green beans because of the simplicity. I like all beans; they add great fiber, taste and protein. Would love to win a Bean Book!

I learned to cook beans through my previous job helping people to learn basic cooking skill, nutrition etc.. They have always been a favorite food. Since I’ve been disabled and have a lower income for the last 9 years, beans are a necessity, as well. They taste great, they’re so versatile, they’re healthy & inexpensive. What else can you ask for from any food. The book is a great idea for anyone because it has everything from A-Z about beans and there’s always something to learn.
Now there’s a cookbook you don’t see very often. Such a well deserving topic too! I love beans and would welcome ideas how to incorporate them into my meals so I NEED to WIN!
I have this cookbook, and it’s a winner. Recipes from all around the world — dried beans, fresh beans, green beans. Crescent is in fine form. Just as rewarding as her book on Cornbread.

Beans are really good for you, high fiber for one thing, but the nice thing about them is if you’re trying to losr weight eat them up, because they really stick with you,to prevent those hunger pangs from sceeping up on you!!
