Just along Route 6A in Brewster is a small inviting restaurant serving fresh seafood with a smile.
We sampled the perfectly cooked Grilled Native Lobster over jasmine rice with long beans, diced papaya, sliced hearts of palm, and some cucumber in a delicate coconut curry sauce ($36) and Sauteed Day Boat Scallops with crisp waffled potato gaufrettes, asparagus, pancetta, chive Bearnaise, pea shoots ($27). Both are worth the drive.
Wine is quite reasonable, too. The ’09 Sauvignon Blanc, Reserve, Brancott from New Zealand is only $36.
