On a rainy day recently, I met my financial advisor for lunch at Oceana, a restaurant he frequents because of its proximity. Expecting nothing other than money talk over seafood, I was pleasantly pleased by the attentive service of good food.
I sipped a glass of their Sancerre with their lump crab cake in a mustard celery root remoulade puddle topped with frisée. I’d go back for that. And for their parfait ($15), reminiscent of the Good Humor truck’s orange sherbet creamsicle filled with vanilla ice cream. Theirs tops olive oil cake with orange sorbet, orange cream and oatmeal crumble.
A delightful place to get lunch pre-theatre.
