I love the Sam adams Choc Bock when its available in my area which isn’t often(Pa and NJ).Maybe next time i’ll buy a whole case which is like 140.00.
Due to the price and non “constant” availability, however,I recently feel in love with a stout beer which is excellent, smooth, silky and has a “widget”in the can.The head on this beer is so thick, you can just about cut it with a knife! The beer i’m talking about is called…”Beamish”,which is an Irish Stout. No,its not a chocolate based beer, but seems to definitely taste very similar to Sam Adams Choc.Bock, but without the subtle choc aftertaste or stronger/ruff finish.Trouble is,is that Beamish beer may not be available soon due to the co.being bought out by someone else. The store shelves are already barren of Beamish. When I find it again,(Beamish),i’ll stock it up to the ceiling!
