Tucked between 18th and 19th on Third Avenue is Ponty Bistro, an authentic French-African Restaurant that’s good for a quiet Sunday brunch. And the pricing ain’t bad either. For $20 you get a cocktail (mimosa, bloody Mary or Ponty martini) plus a choice of entrees and coffee.
We sampled the crab meat eggs Benedict, mushroom and goat cheese omelet, scrambled eggs on a French baguette with goat cheese, tomato confit and basil pesto, and the most delicious Lobster BLT — lobster on brioche with crisp bacon, lettuce, tomato and basil pesto aioli. Yummers.
