What’s new?
• For the first time, America will vote to determine all 100 finalists to compete for the Grand Prize at the Bake-Off Contest finals.
• To encourage simpler, original recipes, submissions must include no more than seven ingredients and take 30 minutes or less to prepare, not including baking or cooling time.
• The Bake-Off Contest now features three recipe categories with separate entry periods.
Participants have three chances to enter and vote. Each entry and voting period is defined by one of the three recipe categories below:
• Amazing Doable Dinners: This category is open now. Entry period runs from January 3 to February 7, 2013. Voting is open from March 14 to March 28, 2013.
• Simple Sweets and Starters: Entry period runs from April 4 to May 9, 2013. Voting is open from June 13 to June 27, 2013.
• Quick Rise and Shine Breakfasts: Entry period runs from July 4 to August 8, 2013. Voting is open from September 12 to September 26, 2013.
