A friend from Connecticut was waiting for a delivery at her UWS place, so we caught up while I waited with her . Once the table arrived and was assembled, we off we went  for a nibble, stopping in at an adorable neighborhood teeny place.

The tuna salad with mozzarella sandwich on rye bread ($10) was stuffed with tuna and not overly gooey from too much mayo. The freshly made offering was surprisingly delicious.

And who would have thunk that an organic parmigiano reggiano omlette ($8) would be a show stopper. We both were wide-eyed after taking a bite of the ethereal fluffy organic egg dish.

We washed all this down and finished our catching up with and the clean and crisp Marche Consenso, Rosato IGT, Saladini Pilastri 2014 rosé ($39) from Sangiovese grapes ($39).

If you’re in the area, it’s worth stopping by if you can get a table!
