Outside Lands Music + Arts Festival offers concert-goers a downright feast. Set in Golden Gate Park this August 14th and 15th, the festival draws fans from across the country with world-class musicians such as Furthur’s Phil Lesh and Bob Weir, Kings of Leon, The Strokes, My Morning Jacket, Phoenix and Al Green.
The festival is also unique for capitalizing on the Bay Area’s rich culinary culture as ticket holders are privy to a culinary experience with Bay area restaurants and chefs — such as Pacific Catch, Maverick, and Namu — serving up signature dishes at Taste of the Bay
Wine Lands ticket holders can sample wines, take tasting classes and engage in in-depth conversations with the winemakers themselves from both iconic vineyards (Hess) and up-and-comers (Copain and Peay).

I would like to enter the food industry as a chef. I’m self taught and would like to know how to put wheels onto my dream.
Hi Jill! There are many ways to practice your talents in the food industry, from staring your own catering company or supper club to working in a restaurant kitchen. One great resource is Cookwork (http://www.facebook.com/#!/Cookwork), where industry jobs are promoted. Best of luck!
