The eternal question, ‘Who am I?’
The topic of the afternoon, ‘What is ME?’
ME is a new line of caffeine-free, all-natural beverages. The line of drinks launched at the beginning of the Fall, featuring four unique flavor combinations, each bursting with their own special ‘personalities’. The marketing here is a bit of the beaten track, with each drink named for personality types, making your search for the perfect beverage more of a Match.com dating experience than a stroll down the soda aisle. I had the opportunity to choose between Vivacious, Curious, Uninhibited and Unavailable. Call me bad, but I went right for Uninhibited…
ME contains zero caffeine and zero added sugar. Unlike most super-charged sodas hitting the market today, ME does not claim to keep you awake for four days, providing an enticing, almost healthy twist that is unlike almost anything else on the market.
So, what can you actually expect in regards to flavor. Good question, as the names are alluring, but certainly leave much to the imagination. Vivacious is a sweet citrus mixture of tangerine and pineapple while the Curious flavor is well-named, an odd blueberry and lime combo that left me questioning, slightly curious to say the least.
Uninhibited is pink grapefruit, eh.. I wanted a bit more passion and craziness with a name like that, my first choice leaving me wanting. And of course, what did I enjoy the most, the Unavailable flavor! A powerfully intoxicating carbonated beverage showing off dragonfruit and blackberries, quite an original soda experience and certainly worth a try, I see these possibly making great inroads with cocktails, I’ll try an Unavailable vodka ME anytime..

I purchased this product because of the all natural ingredients. But, was surprised when I read the label which said it include ‘frutose’. Why was it necessary to include ‘frutose’?
Hi Joanne, I want to make sure that you are not confusing pure crystalline fructose with high fructose corn syrup . Fructose was used because it is sweeter than sugar and allows for lower calories. It also has a lower glycemic index than other sugars so you won’t experience a sugar crash from ME. The sweetness perception peaks and falls earlier than other sugars allowing fruit flavors shine.
