The Mango Hometown Tour is coming to Hartford on Friday, August 26, from 3:30 – 5 p.m. as Chef Chris Torla of Mango_HTTrumbull Kitchen and Chef Billy Grant of Grant’s compete in the Ultimate Mango Taste-Off, courtesy of the National Mango Board.

The chefs will each create a recipe made for late-night dining using fresh mangos. Both are experts in this arena because of Hartford’s many nocturnal college students.  Join the fun at Trumbull Kitchen (150 Trumbull Street, Hartford) to taste each chef’s creation and see whose dish best highlights mango goodness and captures Hartford’s local flair.
