Gramercy Tavern will host the 17th Annual Autumn Harvest Dinner on Monday, September 27, 2010. Gramercy Tavern’s Chef Michael Anthony, Pastry Chef Nancy Olson and Wine Director Juliette Pope along with a lineup of the nation’s top chefs and renowned New York City sommeliers will prepare a sumptuous five-course dinner and reception with wines to benefit Share Our Strength (SOS) ; an innovative non-profit working to end childhood hunger in America by 2015. Since its founding in 1984, SOS has distributed more than $60 million in grants to over 1,000 anti-hunger and anti-poverty organizations in the United States, Canada and developing countries.Union Square Hospitality Group’s CEO, Danny Meyer who is an active national leader in the fight against hunger will host the dinner.

The evening will include a silent auction of wine, luxury, epicurean & travel packages. Dinner reception begins at 6 PM with cocktails followed with dinner at 7 PM. Tickets start at $1,000.
