More than two dozen of NYC’s top female chefs will serve savory and sweet signature dishes at the Seventh Annual “A Second Helping of Life” on Monday, September 20, 7 p.m., at Pier 60 at Chelsea Piers. SHARE LOGO
Chef Alex Guarnaschelli (Butter restaurant and host of Food Network’s “Alex’s Day Off”) will serve as executive chef at this fundraiser to support SHARE, a not for profit organization that offers free peer support to women with breast or ovarian cancer, their families and friends. Participating chefs will each be paired with a guest celebrity to serve signature dishes. Food will be complemented by a selection of fine wines and spirits. Julie Reiner, owner of the Clover Club, will create a signature SHARE cocktail for the evening. Attendees will be able to bid on silent and live auction items, including a limited edition hot pink Vespa created to raise awareness of the fight against breast cancer.
