Dan’s Taste of Two Forks will showcase the best culinary talent from the North and South forks of Long Island, including local culinary talent from dozens of East End restaurants, Long Island wineries, premiere local purveyors, and local brewers Southampton Ales & Lagers on Saturday, July 16th, 2011 at Sayre Park in Bridgehampton, NY. The event isĀ sponsored by Dan’s Papers, the Hamptons’ weekly newspaper.
The Taste of Two Forks line-up of culinary greats include: Blue Parrot, Almond, Star Boggs, Fresno, LT Burger, Georgica, La Plage, Mosaic and Dylan’s Candy Bar, and that’s just to name a few!
Award-winning chef, cookbook author and food activist Marcus Sammuelson will host and Rosanna Scotto of Good Day New York will serve as the master of ceremonies. Special guests include Sarabeth Levine, co-founder of Sarabeth’s Preserves & Baked Goods and author Silvia Lehrer of Savoring the Hamptons: Discovering the Food and Wine of Long Island’s East End. A VIP reception will begin at 6:30 and general admission beings at 7:30.
The Taste of Two Forks event will benefit East End Food Pantries through Have a Heart Community Trust, a charitable organization headquartered in Southampton and dedicated to providing direct emergency relief to residents all over the East End of Long Island in times of individual and/or family crisis.
