Six Taste Food Tour Los Angeles

Champagne Sabering

Got at least $500 to throw away and really want to make it rain? Well, you've still probably got nothing on Zane Lamprey, who just happen to set the world record for Champagne sabering during the most recent Superbowl. In fact, Lamprey not only broke the record - he shattered it! Boston Wine Festival

Boston’s 22nd annual wine festival — the national’s longest running food & wine pairing series — is underway at the Boston Harbor Hotel and runs through April 1, 2011. The event on March 31 will feature Maison Joseph Drouhin. Family owned for 130 years, Joseph Drouhin offers a variety of wines from their Burgundy vineyards. Chicago’s Top Specialty Food Awards

Chicago food aficionados have spoken. Sticky Toffee Pudding from Sticky Toffee Pudding Company was voted Chicago’s City Choice in a contest at the foodspring.com Specialty Food Pavilion at Chicago Gourmet. The winner, a warm cake-based dessert made with dates and buttery toffee sauce, received the most votes during two days of tastings and voting at a food festival this fall. The Chicago contest was extremely close with Sticky Toffee Pudding winning by a single vote, besting Almond Toffee from Amy E’s Bakery. The Wine Press, North Haven

Our cabertnet was ready for bottling! It's been almost two years since a group of us gathered at The Wine Press to de-stem and crush the grapes that were harvested in central California.
