Philadelphia's Restaurant Weeks runs for two weeks this September. Running now thru Saturday, October 22, 2011 is Philadelphia's Independence After Hours walking tour and dinner. Attendees dine on a three-course dinner served by colonial townspeople at City Tavern and then "sneak" into Independence Hall for any exclusive tour seeing Philadelphia's founding fathers. The rain didn't stop the hungry attendees from the BBQ Bash yesterday, Sunday, August 21 at the New Haven Open at Yale, sponsored by Niagara Bank — with local chefs grilling outside in the rain, but serving their version of barbecue inside.
