The US Food Safety blog has a list of brand-name product recalls related to possible Salmonella contamination. Click here for that complete list, which will continue to be updated as new recalls are announced.
These products include — but are not limited to — cookies, pastry, sandwich crackers, candy, ice cream or any product containing peanut butter or peanut paste (a blend made from ground roasted peanuts). Supermarket jars of peanut butter have not been found to be contaminated.
WAS TOLD BY CAMPBELL BROWN THAT HER WEBSITE WOULD HAVE 1700 PRODUCTS USING PEANUTS. CAN’T FIND THE LIST NOR THE WEBSITE GIVEN. PLEase SEND THE CORRECT ADDRESS/ I’VE TRIED MANY SITES TO NO AVAIL AND HAVE SOMEONE WHO IS VERY SICK WITH SIGNS OF SALMONELLA.
Marilyn, yesterday a representative from Nestle commented on a similar posting related to contaminated products. She mentioned that the FDA has posted a “widget” on their http://www.fda.gov site to help consumers sort through the long list of recalled products. I hope this information helps.
Hi,
I am Susan Reef, president of US Food Safety Corp. Actually the ENTIRE list is at http://www.usfoodsafety.com. Daily updates are on http://blog.usfoodsafety.com.
Glad you are looking…we have some great blogs and articles also!
The FDA widget only works on computers with Microsoft Internet Explorer. That’s why US Food Safety has an entire list by brand in alphabetical order. The FDA likes it. They told us that in a recent convrsation. The widget won’t work for 20% of computers. http://www.usfoodsafety.com.
Susan, Thanks for sharing that info — and for again giving the US Food Safety site (we’ve listed it a couple times)… BTW – the widget works for me on both Safari and Mozilla using a Mac.
At this time I am going to do my breakfast, after having my
breakfast coming again to read additional news.
