Boston Restaurant Weeks August 2011

Boston Restaurant Weeks runs for two weeks this August.  Specifically, the restaurant weeks will run from Sunday, August 14 to Friday, August 19 and Sunday, August 21 to Friday, August 26 featuring over 200 restaurants offering prix fixe menus for lunch and/or dinner: 2-course lunch for $15.11, 3-course lunch for $20.11, and 3-course dinner for $33.11. San Francisco Street Food Festival 2011

La Cocina’s San Francisco Street Food Festival brings all of the best food in the Bay Area to one street, once a year, to celebrate the talent, the taste and the entrepreneurial spirit of people who make a living doing what they love to do. Laramie Brewfest 2011

This year's sixth annual Laramie Brewfest— a tradition of Jubilee Days. — held earlier this month, showcased 27 breweries that included local city ones such as the  Library Sports Grille and Altitude Chophouse plus breweries coming statewide from Jackson, Casper, Pinedale, Saratoga and ones from Idaho and Colorado.  Overall, about 70 types of beer were represented — Altitude Chophouse's Mexican Chili Ale, Lindeman's Framboise Lambic, Blue Moon, Shock Top and Odell. California Fig Fest 2011

Sample extraordinary wine and food from Central San Joaquin Valley's best chefs, food purveyors and wine makers at the 8th annual Fig Fest taking place Saturday, August 13th, 2011 from 9:00 am - 12:30 pm at Fresno State (Agriculture East Lawn). Beacon’s 9th Annual Chowder Fest

Beacon's 9th Annual Chowder Fest takes place on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Beacon Restaurant and Bar (25 West 56 Street). Los Angeles’ Food Truck Fight

Celebrate summer on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the Japanese American National Museum (369 E. First Street) with delicious food from Los Angeles' Asian and Fusion food trucks. 22nd Annual Pennsylvania Dutch Festival

Celebrate the traditions, foods and crafts of the Pennsylvania Dutch at the 22nd Annual Pennsylvania Dutch Festival Thursday, August 11 - Saturday,  August 13, 2011 at The Reading Terminal Market (Located at 12th and Arch Street, Philadelphia).  The three-day festival will run daily from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. 2011 New Haven Food and Wine Festival

Fields on the Saco: A Farm to Table Event

Los Angeles’ Eat Real Festival

Los Angeles’ Eat Real Festival will take place July 16 and 17, 2011 at Helms Bakery in Culver City (located on 880 Venice Blvd, L.A.). The two-day event will run Saturday 10:30 am – 9:00 pm  and Sunday 10:30 am – 5:00 pm. Taste of Dallas

The 25th annual Taste of Dallas food festival will take place Friday, July 8 through Sunday, July 10, 2011 at Fair Park located on 1200 S. Slugburger Festival

The Slugburger Festival will take place July 7 - July 9, 2011 in Corinth, Mississippi (at the Train Depot on Fillmore Street and the carnival by Trailhead Park at Cruise Street and Jackson Street). Well-Seasoned Chef Series

The  Atlanta Botanical Garden will hold its  Well-Seasoned Chef Series  - a culinary experience in the Edible Garden Outdoor Kitchen where chefs prepare a four-part tasting menu with food freshly harvested from the Edible Garden - every first and and second Tuesday of the month from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Located at 1345 Piedmont Ave NE the series runs from now through mid-October. Taste of Chicago

Chicago will be throwing a ten-day food festival from Friday, June 24th - Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Grant Park (located at Michigan Ave. & Congress Dr.) from 11:00 am - 8:30 daily. Annual Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl

The 29th annual Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl takes place June 7 - 9, 2011 from noon - 8 pm daily at Boston City Hall Plaza (Located on Atlantic Avenue and Surface Artery South).
