Chef Michael Farrell Opens New Orleans Bistreaux

Fall Cooking Classes in New Mexico

Jane Butel’s Southwestern Cooking School, now in its 27th year features Southwestern and Mexican Cooking with  two weekend classes this fall — October 8-10, and November 12-14. The classes are taught in Jane’s professional kitchen in her Corrales, New Mexico home. Each of the hands-on classes is preceded by a review of the major ingredients as well as hints and tips for success with the recipes. Each attendee receives an apron, cookbook and a diploma. Capsouto Frères 30th Anniversary

Three decades ago the Capsouto family opened its classic French bistro, Capsouto Frères  on a quaint street corner in Tribeca. Eva Longoria’s Beso Steakhouse in Vegas

Eva Longoria Parker’s BESO Steakhouse and EVE Nightclub recently opened in Las Vegas inside the 8.5-billion dollar “Crystals” CityCenter MGM/Mirage development. Mory’s in New Haven Reopened

After being closed for over 20 months, the storied Mory’s Association, a fixture in the New Haven community for over 150 years, re-opened its premises at 306 York Street in August. Mory's has a long and distinguished history since its founding in the mid-1800's; it is still a membership-only dining establishment. Female Chefs Help Fight Cancer at SHARE Event

More than two dozen of NYC’s top female chefs will serve savory and sweet signature dishes at the Seventh Annual “A Second Helping of Life” on Monday, September 20, 7 p.m., at Pier 60 at Chelsea Piers.
