Enjoy three days of multi-sensory events featuring Asti D.O.C.G. sparkling wines.
This October, 13-15, 2010, you can have the chance to explore the unique Asti D.O.C.G. at A Multi-Sensory Experience. The three-day program will feature tastings, seminars and creative experiences that make it clear why Asti D.O.C.G. is a superior wine.
During the three days, the Asti Experience will feature seminars and educational activities led by experts in the field. Special guests Ernest Knam, Ambassador of Taste for the Consorzio per la Tutela dell’Asti D.O.C.G., and Paolo Barichella, renowned Food Designer and founder of Food Design Studio in Milan, will share their views on food innovation through design. Each will explain their approach using Asti D.O.C.G. as an ingredient for recipes from the Piedmont region
Michael Wilson, Editor in Chief of La Cucina Italiana, and Ian Wolff, Wine and Spirits Editor, will lead a tasting of innovative, creative cocktails that feature Asti. Working with the multi-sensory approach, students of the Parsons School of Design, in collaboration with the New York-based architectural firm Urban Office Architecture, will create a tour through the five senses, where visitors will be able to experience a sensory voyage through flavors, colors and textures that culminates in a tasting Asti.
