Take the elevator at the back of the Armani store on Fifth Avenue up to their third floor restaurant for a respite cocktail or meal. The the service is fabulous, the food reminiscent of Italy (yet pricey).

I’d suggest either pasta that we sampled:  sheep’s milk ricotta cheese filled tortellini with fresh tomato and sage butter ($14 half portion/ $25 full portion) and the lightly dressed housemade spinach  with langoustine, wild mushrooms and black truffle ($20 half portion / $38.00).

What I highly recommend is their tender baby octopus with polenta ($29).

Our half bottle ($62) of 2008 Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona Brunello di Montalcino worked wonderfully with each dish with it’s berry nose and spice-infused finish.
