Annie Chun’s expands their healthy seaweed snack line with two new flavors, Brown Sugar & Sea Salt  and Cracked Pepper & Herbs. These snacks are preservative, MSG, dairy and gluten free. They are similar to Japanese nori, used for sushi, but instead are roasted and seasoned for a crispy texture.

Each 10-sheet (0.18-ounce) serving  contains 25 calories, 1.5-2 grams total fat, 60-70 milligrams sodium and 1 gram protein.

– Alyssa Tucker, Bite of the Best Intern: This was my first time trying roasted seaweed;  I found that these snacks had a flaky texture. My favorite is the Brown Sugar and Sea Salt because it combined both a sweet and salty taste. Since each seaweed sheet is so thin, it took a good amount to satisfy my hunger.
