I have called and talked to customer service twice, and they keep referring me to the protein mix too– and funny, it is so bad that Big Lots is carrying it– but the fiber drink mix has always been scarce. I am beginning to think that there is more to this, that they are not carrying it because it has too much fiber in it, or some other reason– it is almost exactly the taste of the protein water mix, but with half the fiber of the fiber drink mix. Kelloggs is being just a little too cagey about this– and frankly, I never heard of the product until may of 2009– their marketing stinks, and I told them that, too.

How great it is to see all you fans of the All Bran fiber drink share your stories and pursuits to be heard. It is too bad that Kellogs is so cocky. I, too, believe it was a wonderful product with great taste and highest fiber content of any drink I have run across. I just happened on it one day in a Rite-aid store but they only had one or two boxes. I then order a case from Amazon but I am running out. I totally agree that it was poor displaying and lack of advertising that did not get the word out soon enough. I willing join with you in letting the retailers know so hey will get on Kelloggs to provide this product or maybe some other wise distributor will get the idea to create something as good if not better to replace it an Kellogg will lose out. THERE IS UNITY IN NUMBERS. Keep writing to the retailers and spread the word. Thanks for your persistance folks!

I found this product at Walgreens but have not been able to locate it anywhere. Now I see it is being discontinued. Whow. This is really a good product. I love iced tea and get to intake my fiber too. All I needed was bottle of water and this product any time and anywhere. Now the remaining boxes cost a lot more than I paid at Walgreens. Somebody tell them to put it back on the market.

I have told Kelloggs over and over, and am now angry enough with them, because it was THEIR lack of proper marketing, that did this product in, that I am looking for other alternatives, and frankly have no use right now for them. They told me on the phone that I should try their protein water, instead– and I told them that I don’t like it, and apparently many people don’t,because you can buy it at Big Lots, but no one is buying it there, either.

I saw no that would have clued me in to its discontinuation. I had used the Fiber Drink Mixes since the originally came out. Much of my family in other households enjoyed this drink. Pink Lemonade, Tea and I had the opportunity to try the new Berry drink mix. They family and I had difficulty finding them in stores like Walmart, Meijer and Krogers the shelves were always empty; we would purchase boxes at a time which would include 4 or more depending how many remained on the shelves.Your product works much better my doctor has me on a high fiber diet and this worked best for me. My doctors office had it advertised on his informercial in the waiting room. I have numerous health diagnosis that require my meals to be high in fiber. Know that you have discontinued it, I will contact General Mills to see if they are interested in marketing these drinks. The already have great cereals, Fiber One Bars, poptarts, pancakes just to name a few with a variety of flavors and it ALL TASTES GREAT. I am very disappointed. Are you sure its not the stores *pharmacys’ supporting another company’s product for fiber. My perception is the stores did you a dis-service. Why wasn’t this product at Costco’s in larger packaging. Fiber One have the fiber one bars of thirty for ten dollars.
I really think this product has a future and those of us who discovered it have already put testimonials on-line to its effectiveness and good taste. We are now willing to pay up to $8.50/box to order the remainders from OverstockDrugstore.com. Why don’t you try promoting it? Why don’t you give the word-of-mouth a chance to work? Why don’t you sell fiber one the rights, or AMA to market it? This product is excellent and has a future – please reconsider selling it. When I ask the store managers about it they never told me it was being discontinued; and that is probably because it was located in the Pharmacy areas/isles at Meijers and Walmart. I’ve worked in Health for over thirty years and what I’m hearing from customers is that the stores can’t keep it stocked; whenever asked they tell us “we sold out”. This doesn’t sound as if nobody is buying it. I pray you consider. This helps me drink water as I should and fiber intake.

I have concluded that Kelloggs really doesn’t want to sell it– the distributor here in Wisconsin STATED that they couldn’t get it from Kelloggs, even back in July of 2009. Wonder why….. but it tells me that either they weren’t getting a large enough profit per unit, or perhaps there was a threat of some lawsuit. I also feel that they did a really, REALLY poor job marketing it– perhaps that is an embarassment to Kelloggs, but if so, SHAME ON THEM. Overstock Drugstore is now OUT OF STOCK on all of it– I just bought the last five boxes of Pink Lemonade at our Big Lots, and they told me that they are now out of stock too.

I too have given up on Kelloggs. Why don’t some of you join me in calling Kraft (maker of Crystal Light) 1-800-431-1002 and suggest that they add additional fiber to their “LiveActive” drink mixes (only 3 g fiber currently). Or phone Ocean Spray which makes an awesomely good flavored Cran-Lemonade drink and ask them to add fiber to that drink. 1-800-662-3263.
Kraft – 1-800-431-1002
Ocean Spray – 1-800-662-3263 (Mon-Fri 9 AM to 4 PM EST)
If Kelloggs won’t listen, lets get someone else to pay attention.

Sorry folks… I am just as bummed as you are. I have read many of the comments and also enjoyed the drink mix. However, due to the fact that this product stayed sold out at our local stores I seriously doubt Kelloggs response that the product was not received well is the real cause of the discontinutation. My best guess is it had a lot more to do with side effects of consumers using the product in excess. Knowing some things about nutrition, my guess is that to many individuals were supplementing the drink for a full dose of daily fiber that should have been consumed in foods. Adults should consume 20 -30 grams of fiber per day. However, fiber is not meant to be completely consumed by supplements, but by eating a healthy diet composed of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains.
Excess use of fiber supplements can cause some very serious issues with the lower GI tract. Because fiber softens stool, if used in excess, over time the intestine can get to the point where it can lose its ability to move stool through to the rectum for exctretion. Instead of causing the desired effect of regular bowel movements an excess can either cause constipation which sometimes can result in surgery or can relax the intestinal muscles enough to even cause leakage from the rectum. Although, I loved the product the best method for fiber is to use supplemental products in moderation and get the majority of fiber from a healthy diet.

I really enjoyed this all-bran pink lemonade. I have a terrible problem with constipation, and this product has helped me tremendously. I was very disappointed when I shopped Wal-Mart in McMinnville Tennessee, and they told me they no longer stocked this product. I have had a terrible time with constipation every since. Please!! Is the any way I can buy any left over stock returned to your company?! Sincerely, Mary – PS Please repond!!
I used and loved the drink for several months. Hated it when I couldn’t find it again. I have moved on to Fiber Plus bars. Really tasty, not too sweet and great fiber source. I am finding it in Big Lots, etc now. They will probably discontinue it soon too. What is Kellogg’s problem?

As I stated in my October 25, 2009 comments regarding Kellogg’s and All Bran Tea, Pink Lemonade and Berry Drink Mix. I noticed when I was in Meijers Tuesday, October 27, 2009 that Metamucil now offers Pink Lemonade, Orange and Berry Burst Fiber Mix Drink. The orange drink mix is in individual packets, the pink lemonade and berry burst are in containers. Benefiber also offer flavored fiber drink mixes (i.e., kiwi strawberry) this explains why Kelloggs is discontinued because the pharmacies are in control and have agreements with these longterm companies before kellogg came up with it. And of course the pharmacy will stay committed to Metamucil and Benefiber. I didn’t purchase any haven’t decided. I may just stick with Fiber One and there product line. To those indivduals out their who belief fiber will cause health problems; only if you go from no fiber to high fiber diet and not drink plenty of water is the ramifications behind. Doctors frequently prescrib patients to increase fiber in diet and not just from foods due to calories intake. Try to increase fiber intake gradually every ones body is different. Fiber drinks and suppliments assist in less caloric intake. I would recommend to speak with your doctor because its a case by case/ individual base. Oh by the way prices ranged depending on side between $5.00 -$12.00. Pharmacy Department is responsible for ordering their stock for shelves. These products are located in the pharmacy areas at Walmart and Meijers and probably majority of stores.

October 28, 2009 at 12:28 pm
The problem with Metamucil has always been that it thickens as it stands and if you don’t drink it right away it is a disgusting, thick and gritty goo. None of the other products tastes as good as the All-Bran product tasted. I preferred the less-sweet and less-articial taste of All-Bran fiber drink. Currently I am adding Benefiber to Ocean Spray’s Cran Lemonade. But that means I need to carry the Cran leomonade packet and a little container of Benefiber so it is not as convenient to carry to work.
R.Christine F
October 29, 2009 at 4:32 am
Laura N-B according to the box these aren’t suppose to get thick nor gritty goo. I know what you mean I used metamucil long ago. I’m checking with another company to see if they are interested. will let everyone know 😉

I called the company yesterday October 28, 2009… we ALL need to keep calling. The woman I spoke with said that they have received many calls about the Fiber Drink mix being discontinued. She said the company is listening, but still needs to hear from people. She mentioned maybe a new, very similar product or the old one brought back. We need many different names calling, and they will forward the comments. 1-800-962-1413. Maybe we change the minds of those at Kellogg’s!!!! Please call!!

I just ordered a pound of PolyD Fiber ($2.29) from Netrition.com. PolyD is polydextrose – the main ingredient (minus flavor) in All-Bran Fiber Drink Mix. Shipping is $4.95. I will update my comment after I have tried the PolyD for a few weeks. Hope I get the same results as I did with All-Bran drink.

I called the Kellogg’s number also (1-800-962-1413) and she told me the same thing: Consumer demand was just not high enough to warrant the product. But they are documenting the calls so PLEASE CALL! Meanwhile, she is sending me a coupon for their fiber bar which has 9 grams of fiber which isn’t the same thing but I’ll try it with a bottle of water and we’ll see. But I was very clear on the phone that I want the Fiber Drink back!!!! Benefiber and Metamucil just aren’t as good.

Kelloggs really missed the boat on this one! If I were them,I would fire the marketing staff that screwed this one up– I never saw or heard of this product until June 2009, and now they are alreaady discontinuing? It is not for lack of popularity, and they WILL lose. I will not buy Kelloggs Protein Water– it is THIS product I want.

I’m so sad. I just tried it this summer and loved it better than all the other drink mixes. Then I took a nutrition class at work and learned how important fiber was for my diet, so I was planning on buying boxes of the stuff. Now I can’t get it. So disheartening. You are right….their marketing dept screwed up big time.

Give it up. Kellogg is not going to give this drink product back. I have found Fiber Plus bars that are actually more dependable and cause less bowel gas. High is fiber, antioxidants and tastes pretty good. This is my breakfast of choice now.

To Amy McManus… I disagree about “Give it up”. I am a Marketing Manager with the institution I work for. I spent a great deal of time on the phone with them. Fiber Plus Bars are great also, but if people really like the All-Bran Fiber Drink Mix, they still should call. *1-800-962-1413*

My husband and I own a discounted grocery store. Several boxes came in our groceries for the store. Over the past few months I have used every box we had. I just started looking for it in regular stores.I am so disappointed to find it has been discontinued! I have dealt with severe constipation problems all my life and taken over the counter remedies for years. This is the first product I have found that has given relief without painful discomfort with a taste that is enjoyable instead of gagged down! Often times the Fiber bars are difficult to chew, taste terribe or cause gassy discomfort. Anything worth having is worth fighting for!!! I will be calling Kelloggs to let them know how great there product is and how greatly is is wanted back on the market. If you feel the same way please call too!

I’m a tea drinker. Although the other fiber brands have flavored mixes they do not have tea. I love the All Bran tea mix. My WalMart and HEB stopped carrying it in the spring. I found it on Amazon.com and ordered a couple of cases. Not until I’m ready to order more do I find out it has been discontinued. You can bet I will call Kellogg’s tomorrow and express my feelings.

I actually tried the Kelloggs special K20 protein water mix and its pretty good, doesnt desolve as easy as the allbran and it only has 5g of fiber. I find it does help. The only problem is it suppost to help curb your appetite too, so young kids cant take it….sure hope they reconsider and bring back the item we all love.

I finally broke down and purchased the Benefiber strawberry/kiwi drink mix. Its not the same amount of fiber as the all bran fiber drink mix but it does taste like the pink lemonade, it doesn’t get thick if you leave it sitting over night. Since my last comments I did contact another companies marketing/develop. department to consider the drink mixes and gave them this website to review all the comments. I’m hoping some company will pick up the product. The make generic of all the other brand products, why not this

Through exercise, diet and all bran fiber drink I lost 50 pounds in 11 months. Great stuff, but it is not a fiber. It’s main ingredient is “poly dextrose” which can be ordered on line at bakery suppliers and can mix it your self. It has one detrimental effect that I’ve found in on line research: the colon loses muscle thickness, which can be neutralized by eating same amount of regular fiber such as a fiber one bar. Weight is lost by the poly dextrose blocking fat intake through the large colon. Some vitamins are ingested via fat intake so that is something else to watch. Hope this helps everyone.

I am very upset that you cannot get this product any longer. I searched high and low at Walmart and Meijers, to find out you can no longer get. They need to bring this product back.
I too have been driving all over Georgia looking for the All Ban Fiber drink. I sincerely wish Kelloggs would bring this product back. This product works great and the taste is wonderful. There is no other product like it.
I loved the fiber drink. I too had problems with constipation and then I found this product hidden in the pharmacy aisles with the Metamucil and castor oils. I even turned my family and friends on to this product.
I will be calling Kellogg’s to express my concern about their choice to discontinue the product.
WE ALL NEED TO CALL!!! They are listening to the feedback, my co-worker called yesterday. Have your family and friends call, the more names the better!!!!

THEY ARE LISTENING, A NEW OR REVISED PRODUCT MAY BE DEVELOPED, THEY NEED TO HEAR FROM MORE COMSUMERS. Fiber Plus Bars are great also, but if people really like the All-Bran Fiber Drink Mix, they still should call. *1-800-962-1413*
(I won’t continue to post any additional comments, if people are interested they will call!!!)

I agree, the comment about giving it up, is defeatist. I have called several times, and e-mailed, and will continue to.
“Hope springs eternal”. The bars are quite good and I believe more dependable. Whatever you want to spend you energy on====
My husband and I own a discounted grocery store.
Why is this product being discontinued? This is the best product I have Evered tried. I’m a diabetic and this product have helped my glucose levels. My overall system
felt better when using this product. Is their any where I can get this product?
I came across this product by accident this summer. Walgreens and Publix in the Atlanta area had discounted boxes. I purchased them and fell in love with this product. Only need to drink one a day. I am now trying Benefiber, and it does not work as well and I need two for it to work at all. Kelloggs, Please bring this product back. It works!!
Deidre and anyone else who hasn’t already done so: Call Kelloggs! 800.962.1413 Get your friends to call Kelloggs too.
I am with all of you on this one, kelloggs surely messed this one up for alot of us,i was so dissapointed after i found this site and found out about them getting rid of this product,i’ve been searching at all walgreen’s to find it and slowly but surely couldnt find it all anymore. Why would they get rid of it….WHY????
I’m a tea drinker. Although the other fiber brands have flavored mixes they do not have tea. I love the All Bran tea mix. My WalMart and HEB stopped carrying it in the spring. I found it on Amazon.com and ordered a couple of cases. Not until I’m ready to order more do I find out it has been discontinued. You can bet I will call Kellogg’s tomorrow and express my feelings.
my 4 yr old son suffers from constapation, these drinks were very helpful for him and let him go on a daily basis, for some reason I can find them in any store in Fl, im really dissapointed and hope to hear from someone from kelloggs or hope to see them on the shelf again.
The make generic of all the other brand products, why not this
I am so disappointed that the All Bran Pink Lemonade is being discontinued. That is the one product that helps my grandson. He cannot use milk products such as Activia to help his problem.
