I found this product last winter. It is very good. I have fought constipation for 60 yrs and this product has fixed that problem. It does make me gassy but I started to use only 1/2 of the package at a time and it is not too bad now. My cholesterol is down some and my weight is down a little. I will continue using this product. Haven’t tried the tea flavor but the lemonaid is tasty

I obtained this product through a free sample offer, and I doublt I’ll ever buy it. I thought I’d enjoy the pink lemonade flavor, but after mixing it with my 16 oz of water, it was nearly tasteless. I even let it sit in the fridge for an hour thinking it might improve (KoolAid does..) but it didn’t help. I can buy Benefiber and add it to plain water if I want fiber without taste. The South Beach drink mixes have a lot more flavor, and even though there’s only half as much fiber in it, it also satisfies 6% of your daily protein requirement. Also, sugar free Kool Aid with Benefiber added to it works just as well on the regularity thing as any other fiber beverage.

I liked the product also…but now it is NOT available anymore. I checked the website for all-bran and it is discontinued because of a lack of consumer use!!! Which I find hard to believe because many times the stores were out and I had to wait for a new shipment. Now I can’t find it anywhere!! very disappointing

I tried buying this on Amazon.com and it says it is unavailable. I did however…Sign up to be notified when this item becomes available. In the mean time I am recycling my water bottles. I mix up some Crystal Light Lemonade and add this to the bottles after adding one heaping teaspoon of Fiber-Sure. Shake and enjoy. Fill up extra bottles and place in the fridge to enjoy later.

I just received this from Kellogg’s.
Thank you for contacting us regarding Kellogg’s™ All-Bran™ Fiber Drink Mix. It’s always great to hear from consumers who are trying to find our products because it lets us know how much you enjoy them.
We are sorry to tell you that this product was discontinued. We understand that you enjoyed Kellogg’s™ All-Bran™ Fiber Drink Mix, but unfortunately, stores only want to stock the fastest moving products. If the stores start to discontinue an item, we find we cannot produce the smaller volumes the business demands. It is always difficult for us to make the decision to discontinue a product, as we know it is always someone’s favorite. At this time, there are no plans to reintroduce the item.
We know that it will be hard to find a replacement, but we are always developing new products so we are sure that you will soon find another favorite!

Sherlie; I already wrote to Kellogg’s and was told that this was not a product that “moved fast” in the stores and of course we all know stores want to make profit and if a product isn’t moving quick enough for them they remove it. Kellogg’s will not be producing this product any longer according the the email I receieved from them. Too bad because it seems quite a few people liked the product

My husband is gluten-intolerant, and this is really the only fiber drink product on the market that is gluten-free. I am so disappointed–I called Kellogg a couple of months ago, because I was having trouble finding it, and they told me at that time that they were not discontinuing the product. Now that it is too late to buy up local supplies, I find out they are discontinuing it. I hope Kellogg reconsiders their decision.

They had a great product that really worked. What they did not have was good shelf placement nor a celebrity spokesperson–it took me months just to see it in the store. (They needed someone like Jamie Lee Curtis for Activia, which does not work near as well, by the way.) All of us were just getting started giving it good word-of-mouth. I had even told my supermarket dietician and my physician how good it was. Kelloggs needs to reconsider and give it a chance. WRITE KELLOGGS EVERYONE! Yes– I turned my whole Weight Watchers organization, all over Northeastern Wisconsin on to these products and we all love them, but they started becoming hard to get, store shelves empty– I asked the stores, and they said that the local distributor said that they weren’t going to make them anymore– and that was three months ago. I called Kelloggs, and they profoundly denied that they were discontinuing them. Now, it seems that they weren’t being candid. What a shame– some smart manufacturer will take this up– I do not believe it was because of lack of popularity.

They are stating that the STORES discontinued wanting the items and Kellogg’s can’t produce smaller volumes of the product. They are sending me a coupon for kellogg’s Special K20 Protein Water mix pink lemonade…don’t know how that is supposed to fix the need for fiber?!!?!? Odd Kellogg’s is sending a coupon for K2O Protein Water Pink Lemonade. For lack of anything better, we switched to K2O Pink Lemonade on Amazon’s autoship. We only received 1 shipment from Amazon when I got a notice that this has been discontinued by the manufactuer. I checked the Amazon site and they still have some product left and ordered another case. It has 5 gm fiber.

I have tried the product and loved it. Now I can not fine it because it is discontinued. That I find hard to believe because I have found all reviews good and people can not find it now. Great product, If the product is bought by so many Why is it discontinued?????? I just do not understand it. Every time I went out to buy it the stock was empty and I had to wait for it. Can we please see if the product can be reproduced because I will buy it no matter what. Need this item to start up again. Thanks

Does anyone know a phone number or a address that we can send concerns to, to Kelloggs? I have that generic email address, but I question the effectivness of sending concerns there. I really want to get the word out to Kelloggs that they had a product that changed peoples lives. This was more than just a product that people enjoyed the flavor of, like a cereal, this helped so many people with health conditions that they suffered with. They HAVE to bring this product back!

When I e-mailed the customer service department, I referred them to this web-site. And I agree about the concern they showed. We need to keep calling and emailing them. They sent me an email saying the stores don’t want to stock things that won’t sell that why its discontinued. One more thing- for you fiber-deprived people (like me):
Try Gnu Bars. they are pretty tasty (6 or 7 flavors) and have 12 grams of fiber, 130 calories. A Gnu bar and a yogurt are a good breakfast.
They have a web site, and you can also buy them in some grocery stores, like Trader Joe’s.

Going to Kellogs to request the item may not get you anywhere. Go to the super markets and request the item be stocked. Kellogs will not change their minds if the stores are not requesting the stock. Kellog’s did say “We understand that you enjoyed Kellogg’s™ All-Bran™ Fiber Drink Mix, but unfortunately, stores only want to stock the fastest moving products. Here is my letter – copy it and change it as needed:
David Mackay, President and CEO
Kellogg Company
P.O. Box CAMB
Battle Creek, MI 49016
Dear Mr. Mackay:
I am very disappointed that Kelloggs has decided to discontinue its All-Bran Fiber Drink. I believe that your company did not market it well and that it was not given enough time to garner the word-of-mouth endorsements that would make it into a very successful product. (Check the comments on: http://www.biteofthebest.com/all-bran-fiber-drink-mix/ )
First of all, its placement in my supermarket was not good and it took me literally months to find it, despite the fact that I was actually looking for a fiber drink with few calories that tasted good. It was placed at knee-height near the enemas and suppositories. There were only 3-4 packages on the shelf at most. I was looking in the drink aisle, near the Crystal Light and Gatorade mixes. I had tried the closest Crystal Light products and did not like the taste of them, nor did they have the high fiber content. So I was thrilled when I finally found your All-Bran Fiber Drink. I liked both the Lemonade and Iced Tea flavors, and was very happy that it had only 20 calories per serving.
I saw no ads, coupons or other promotions that would have clued me in to its existence. Your product works much better than Activia Yoghurt for constipation and it promotes a full feeling that helps with dieting. Yet everyone was talking about Activia – and not your product. You just did not promote it to those who needed to hear about it. With the Baby Boomers reaching the age of 60, the great numbers in that generation are going to need more fiber in their diets and are going to need to resolve constipation problems. The fact that the product did not sell is a failure of Kellogg’s marketing department to reach the target audience and to get good product placement.
Those of us who found it loved it and had just started to tell our weight-loss groups, our exercise buddies, our supermarket dieticians and managers, our physicians and our friends how well it worked and how good it tasted. It was always running out at my supermarket and I twice filled out a request for the manager to order more. I also sought out the store dietician (my supermarket is HyVee) and told her how effective it was and that she ought to do a promotion. The same week of that conversation, I found out that Kelloggs would no longer be marketing this product.
I really think this product has a future and those of us who discovered it have already put testimonials on-line to its effectiveness and good taste. We are now willing to pay up to $8.50/box to order the remainders from OverstockDrugstore.com. Why don’t you try promoting it? Why don’t you give the word-of-mouth a chance to work? I am willing to continue to hound my store manager and dietician to get them to promote it, as are a number of other people. Why don’t you partner with Weight Watchers, or AMA to market it? This product is excellent and has a future – please reconsider selling it.
Sincerely,
SAD

Good letter, Laura. I wrote to CVS and Price Chopper (NY market) I will also copy your letter and send it to Kellogg’s even though they keep blaming the stores for the discontinuance of this product. I plan on sending a letter to Rite Aid, Wal-Greens and Wal-Mart. If everyone who likes this product does the same thing, perhaps our voices will be heard and something positive will come of it.

I wrote to Kelloggs and recieved and email back from them stating that the product didn’t move fast enough and it would not be re-introduced. Maybe I will just boycott all Kellogg products because they sound like politicans pointing the finger all over except at themselves!!!
Kellogg emails me when asked to get into this discussion — and wrote, “Bonnie – thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention. At this point, we can only continue to confirm that All-Bran Fiber Drink Mix, as well as Special K2O Drink Mix, are being discontinued.”
Maybe they’re used to getting a hugh response when they discontinue items-they become “desensitized”. If someone still has an original box-may there’s an address on the box??
We need to keep calling and emailing them. They sent me an email saying the stores don’t want to stock things that won’t sell that why its discontinued. We need to keep on them and maybe we can get it back. I agree its the best product I’ve found and I ran out of my last box last week and boy do I notice a change. I need it back A.S.A.P.
Good idea about the address on the box! 1 Kellogg Sq, Battle Creek, MI, 49016. The customer service number is 1-800-962-1413.

I ordered 6 boxes of the lemonade on the Overstock Drugstore.com website. They seem to have whatever stock Kelloggs had left. Can’ find it anywhere else.

If the stores start to discontinue an item, we find we cannot produce the smaller volumes the business demands.”
I think writing the super markets is a great idea. I live in the Chicagoland area, and Jewel-Osco, Walgreens Drugstore and CVS all carried the product. Here are the addresses of their corporate headquarters…

Dear Mr.
Sincerely,
Good letter, Laura.
I was just at Walgreens and what stock they have left of the All Bran Drink Mix is selling for $1.59 per box.
