My stepdaughter and I bought the remaining kellogs fiber drink that we could find, it was the best thing we came across that worked so well for us. Yes, we were told to email kelloggs in hopes that they would bring it back, the tea is our favorite. I still have a few boxes left.

Nutrisystem has this now, pink lemonade & iced tea with fiber added. They call it FlavorFulls. They are pretty good, I like added real lemon to it. You can call and order it ala-cart.
I wrote Lipton and asked them to make a Tea-To-Go with fiber. They currently have energy, and other vitamin ones but not one with fiber.

Thought you’d like to know about this new online tool to track your fiber intake …
With nine out of ten American adults and children not getting enough fiber, it’s no surprise that most consumers don’t know how to easily and effectively add fiber to their diets. As a way to eliminate this confusion, Kellogg created Fiber Tracker – an online tool that identifies how much fiber people need each day and lets users track how much fiber they consume in a day. It also shows which foods provide the greatest source of fiber and offers suggestions for increasing fiber intake.
To check out the Kellogg Fiber Tracker and learn more about Kellogg’s additional fiber tools including FIBER-pe-dia, an online report about the importance of fiber, visit http://www.kelloggsnutrition.com/.

Kellogg Company obviously many of us know how to track our fiber intake daily. The issue is a product was discontinued without notice or advertisment. Many people prefer not eating to get the daily high fiber necessary and that the “Fiber Drink Mix” was easy access,I know the statistics, I know how to add fiber to the various meals I prepare daily easily and effectively; We’re not the ones who are confused we don’t need you to create a Fiber Tracker-online tool. We prefer you bring back the Fiber Drink Mix and stop trying to avoid the true issue. Oh by the way I’ve switched over to General Meals fiber products and use Benefiber drink mix the Kiwi strawberry and Citrics mix is great (non grity not thick) It just doesn’t have the high content of fiber as Kellogg. But it works for my water bottles, because I don’t drink various beverages, mainly water, occassional 100%juice and fiber drink mix in water.

The Nutrisystem Flavor Fulls have only 3 grams of fiber per serving- the same as Benefiber, and less than the Kellogg’s Protein, which has 5 grams of fiber.

Special K has Protein & Fiber. Protein keeps you full, it has 5 grams each. I think it is superior to All Bran drink mix.

Kellogg’s All-Bran Fiber Drinks played a big part in helping me to lose 150 pounds. I was devastated when I found out they would be discountinued. Upon calling Kellogg’s 1-800 number to complain, I was told I could buy boxes in the Kellogg’s store while supplies lasted. I ordered $120 worth of boxes. As I waited and waited for delivery, I called to find out the status of my order. I was told that I got false information about being able to buy this product at the Kellogg’s store, but my check would be returned. AAAAUURGHH!!!!
We need to band together! Does anybody know how to start a petition online? Let’s work together to get them back. Other products aren’t as good. I agree that Kellogg’s did a lousy job of promoting this product. Does anybody have any ideas on how we can overwhelm their HQ with a demand to bring Kellogg’s All-Bran Fiber drinks back?

I disagree that K2O is superior. I think the only reason it outlasted the All-Bran fiber drink mix is the “catchier” name. I do not like the flavor options, I prefer the tarter lemonade to the sickly sweet strawberry kiwi. And it has more calories and less fiber than All-Bran drink mix does. I thought just my store quit carrying it. I am sad to find out I am wrong. I totally agree with everyone else about the lack of advertising, and poorer than average product placement. It should have been with the other drink mix packets such as crystal light and not in the cereal aisle, or in the tiny health food section, or etc… I told everyone at my work about it, and only stopped drinking it to savor the last few packets I have as a special treat. I also signed up for notifications from amazon if product ever became available again.

I love the kellogg’s All Bran Fiber Drink Mix. The K2O does not even compare nor is it an even a close second… the All Bran has double the fiber and tastes much better.. I was lucky to find a couple of boxes left @ Wallgreens.. Maybe they should try and launch it a second time.. I never saw or heard of it before until I found it on a shelf at the supermarket and once I tried it I was hooked. It’s to bad that a product this good never got the advertising it should have .. maybe things would have been differant if it had… I wish I could buy it from the company if there wereany left in stock.

I was a big fan of this product also and received the same form letter when I contacted Kellogg regarding the difficulty finding it in stores. I’ve replaced it with Vita Splash Fiber mix. Walmart has it sometimes and it’s available online. Unfortunately, it has only half the fiber with 20 calories per serving. But, it was the closest replacement I could find.

Benefiber has a third of the fiber of All Bran fiber drink mix, so this is going to be really hard to repalce.. BOO- It should have been marketed better.

This has been a bad week: 1) My favorite generic manufacturer discontinued one of the meds I take; 2) I couldn’t find my favorite, tasty liquid protein at Costco and now 3) the All-Bran Fiber Drink Mix has been discontinued??? Argh. I’m in total agreement that Kellogg’s did NOT market it properly. I always have a hard time getting enough fiber and water and the A-BFDM was the perfect solution. I found all three flavors to be excellent. It was low in calories, high in fiber and the quality was excellent. Why can’t they just try selling it directly from their own website? Nothing else on the market today compares for taste, high amount of fiber and convenience. What is wrong here? Do we need to start a petition? And, yes, I also drink the Special K Protein Drink mix but it doesn’t have that much protein and much less fiber. Kellog’s, give it another shot! We’ll help spread the word. We’ll be your grassroots marketing campaign. We’ll buy whole cases at a time if that will make a difference.

I sent an email the other day and here is the nice reply I received. Still the same news but nice just the same.
Thank you for contacting us regarding Kellogg’s™ All-Bran™ Fiber Drink Mix.
I’m really sorry to read that you enjoyed this product very much and are willing to buy it by the case. I know it’s difficult when a good product gets discontinued (trust me I’ve had THREE products get discontinued on me). Unfortunately, because of low sales there are no plans at the moment to reintroduce the drinks back into the market. However, I will be more than happy to pass along your comments to the company about your idea to have them sold on the web. Keep your fingers crossed!
I hope you are able to find another product you will enjoy just as much. Thank you for your loyalty!

I will be happy to creat an online petition. (I looked into it but there are several different free petition sites and I want to find the one I’ve seen used the most, I just can’t remember the name.) Heck, if fans can get TV shows back on the air or save them from cancellation, we have to be able to get them to do something — and selling directly to us seems the way to go. I said by the case to make it look more attractive and convenient to them. (As Kathy suggested, we could ask them to sell it to another company but we couldn’t be sure it would be exactly the same product. … Generic drugs, anyone???)
I doubt any store ever bought more than a case at a time — if that. I certainly never saw great quantities on the shelves. If we could get even a few thousand people to commit to buying a case (24 boxes, 24x8packets/box = 272 packets) that would mean a minimum of one case per year per person. And I’m sure many of us drink up to 2 or 3 packets per day, so it could be up even more cases per person per year.
I really think direct selling is the way to go for them. They wouldn’t need to advertise which cuts down marketing costs, and if they didnt want to take on direct-to-consumer sales in-house, there are a number of fulfillment companies that would love to take over the ordering & shipping process for them.
We *all* need to suggest this! And commit to buying by the case! It’s what makes sense — and would be more economical, too. Perhaps even for us if they charged us the wholesale price that they charged stores. 🙂 They could offer options of selling one flavor per case or 2 or 3.
We can do this! If anyone has a suggestion for me on what petition site to use, let me know. We don’t want multiple online petitions, that would be counter-productive.
Things we can all do NOW:
1) Write Kellogg’s online about selling to us directly at http://www2.kelloggs.com/ContactUs.aspx Use the “Request More Information” box and “General/Other” as the subject. Say you also have many friends who want this to happen.
2) Call Kellogg’s at 1-800-962-1413 and let them know.
3) If so inclined, send snail mail. Their mailing address is: Kellogg Consumer Affairs, P.O. Box CAMB, Battle Creek, MI 49016 (CAMB? Consumer Affairs Mail Box? I never heard of a non-numeric P.O Box but whatever …)
Nothing will change if we don’t put in a little effort and, trust me, in cases like this actions do speak much louder that words on a message board. Fight on, people!
If you would like a form letter that you could cut & paste, let me know and I’ll write one up although I think non-form letters have more impact.
Let’s do it, people!

I forgot to mention, as someone else said, do use Amazon’s “Alert Me” function to tell you when this becomes available. And request your friends do you a favor and do the same. The 3 links are:

2) http://tiny.cc/icedtea
3) http://tiny.cc/RedRaspberry
Trust me, it all helps.
Get your friends to help the cause.

Lastly, I also posted reasons why they should bring back A-BFDM to http://www2.kelloggs.com/GreatIdeas/ Just click “ideas” button and when it comes to the comments section, click “other” and copy & paste the following (500 characters is max):
You state you are always looking for products promoting •Weight/Shape management•Digestive health•Natural health •Convenience/Portability A-BFDM did it all. People who found it (not easy btw) used it, loved it! You should direct-sell to consumers via fulfillment house or Amazon. Cheaper for consumers (no huge store markups), low marketing costs (online banner ads @ Weight Watchers, etc.) + word of mouth & you will be happy w/results! Check out this site for example: http://tiny.cc/biteofthebest

Thanks for starting the online petition, Mickie! Please let everybody know when it’s up and running. I’ve got lots of friends and colleagues who would like to see Kellogg’s All-Bran Fiber drinks back. We’ve all been writing, calling, and e-mailing the Kellogg’s HQ in Battle Creek to bring them back. I thinks it’s all good that we individually stay on Kellogg’s, but if we ALSO overwhelm them with a HUGE tsunami tidal wave of a demand (like an online petition), that would REALLY get their attention!

However, if there is a Big Lots near you, I just picked up a bunch of old boxes of the K2O Iced Tea for $150/box. Some were marked $2.50 and some $1.50. (What care I if the “Best if used by” dates had come and gone?) And you can buy generic inulin fiber (I got mine a Walgreens) that you can add by the spoonful. In the long run, it’s a lot cheaper although certainly not as convenient but c’est la vie. I think I started OD’ing on the artificial sweeteners from all the K2O and All-Bran FDM I was using. My eyesight was getting worse and worse and then I remembered how aspartame always made my eyesight wonky so that’s one positive: I switched back to plain water with a splash of pure pomegranate juice and my eyesight came right back into focus.

April 6, 2010 at 4:22 am
Sorry, Make that $1.50 a box. I don’t think $150 a box would be such a deal. LOL Although I actually did purchase one box of All-Bran Raspberry FDM from an auction site of all places — for about twice the original cost. So I’m just as hooked on the stuff as I ever was.

I am also disapointed about the dicontinuing of all bran fiber! I lost almost 50 plds while using this product! I have now gained over 30 of it back since the stop of using it! Please do all that you can do to get this product back on to the shelves!
I simply do not believe it wasnt selling fast enough, I would buy 10 boxes at a time and have always had trouble finding it. They couldnt keep the shelves stocked with it, cause it sold so fast!!

Just like most people on this blog I am a fan of the All Bran Fiber Drink Mix. Unfortunately for my mom, I just turned her on to it as well. I actually purchased it in November from my local Walmart. I must have picked up one of the last boxes. My mom and I have been looking for it everywhere. How terrible that they have discontinued it. I just called Kellogg’s customer service (800)962-1413 and the rep said that they have still been receiving calls from consumers requesting that it be sold again. She said she would forward my request to their customer service dept. Hopefully this puts us one step closer to getting our drink mix back!

I have to say that I have done acomplete 180 since my first post. Not only am I saving the planet (slightly) by ceasing to buy bottled water, I’m also saving my eyesight as I was OD’ing on the aspartame in all the powedered drink mixes — both fiber and protein that I was constantly drinking. I buy the same inulin fiber powder a zillion times cheaper in a canister (got mine at Walgreen’s, probably available everywhere) and toss two heaping teaspoons into my reusable BPA-free 16.9 oz bottles for the same 10 grams of fiber. I sometimes add a dash of unsweetened fruit juice (love the 100% Pomegranate juice from Langer’s that I get at Costco) and I don’t miss the All-Bran at all. Seriously, people. Save money, save the planet and make your own. 🙂

Question, Mickie: Does it work just as good?
Everybody: Today, I called Kellogg’s 1-800 number again to make my plea on bringing the All-Bran Fiber Drinks back. I got a wishy-washy, noncomitted response.
Anyway (long story short), I am talking with a computer company that makes websites and I want them to create a website where we can do a petition. After we get names and comments, ALL the information would be sent to the Kellogg’s headquarters in Battle Creek. I don’t mind spending money to do this if the support is there. So I ask all of you: Would YOU sign an online petion, write comments, and get your friends, family, and colleagues to do the same if such a website were created?
Thank you for your attention to this message,
AJ-EA 🙂
Mickie
April 26, 2010 at 6:39 pm
Yes, AJ-EA — That is exactly the point I was trying to make: it works just as well, if not better! It’s cheaper, you can add as much or as little fiber as you want, your own flavors if you wish via small amounts of juice and without all off the additional chemicals. If you want to sweeten it, use Stevia. Natural, no side effects. And it will save you tons of money. I wish I had figured this out years ago, it would have saved me a boat-load of cash.

I’m just finding out that this has been discontinued. I always had trouble finding it and cleaned out many grocery store and Wal-Mart shelves whenever I did. I finally went online (this has been over 6 months ago) and bought 10 boxes from Amazon. I’m so glad I did, but I just opened my very last box! I’m so disappointed because Metamucil is just not the same and I can’t really drink it without the Fiber One Iced Tea mixed in. 🙁
WHAT TO DO!!!!! I will be calling Kellogg’s in the morning.
*fingers crossed* (and my colon until they bring it this drink back!) haha

I loved the All Bran fiber drink mix the minute I first tasted it. My unit was deployed from 2008-2009 and getting fiber was really hard while in theatre. I had my husband send me boxes of the drink every month. When I heard others in my BDE were having problems I recommended this product to them. The Tea and Raspberry soon became a staple of our diet. When Soldiers are in theatre it is hard to get good products that work in the rugged environment we are subjected to. Now that we are back in country I have spoken to many of my Soldiers and they all want to know why this product has been discontinued. We really wish that you would reconsider discontinuing this product. It was what could be considered a life saver to us especially while we were deployed. You could always sell it exclusively on your website and continue to help your many loyal customers.
Thank you, TX

Yet another disappointed fan of this fabulous product. Recently found a stray box of the iced tea mix in the back of my pantry and have only 3 packets left, which I’ll totally savor. Stinks that silly people who gobble this stuff up in huge quantities ruin it for the rest of us that enjoy things in moderation.

I am really late to the scene!! I had a carton of the tea drink mix tubes in my cupboard for the past three years until I finally started using it about two weeks ago. I discovered I liked it and now it is all gone. I asked my local Ingles store about it today and they didn’t know it existed. I had the box with me to show what I was looking for. And of course I now know the story. Then I wondered about Postum which I also had an old jar of……and wouldn’t you know, it got discontinued too? But I see that product has been brought back to life by an enterprising company that acquired the rights to the Postum brand. Maybe we can get them or another young firm to do the same with the AllBran Fiber drink mix.
My stepdaughter and I bought the remaining kellogs fiber drink that we could find, it was the best thing we came across that worked so well for us. Yes, we were told to email kelloggs in hopes that they would bring it back, the tea is our favorite. I still have a few boxes left.

1) http://tiny.cc/pinklemonade
I NEED this stuff!! nothing else works for me & now I;m miserable again. Please let me know if there is a large back stock that can be purchased
Hey you all. Try the K2O with 5 g fiber and add another 5 grams with Benefiber.
djw
Good idea. But you’re more than doubling the cost.
Thank you for your attention to this message,
AJ-EA 🙂
I have been looking for ALL-Bran fiber drink mix and have not been able to find it anywhere in the south Chicago area what is up with that?
Karen: Read the blog messages. Kellogs stopped making this product over a year ago. Despite our efforts they have not brought it back. If you read back through the messages there are a lot of good suggestions.
Hollins: Please send your comments directly to Kelloggs. Posting them here will not reach the manufacturer. Scroll up through the posts to # 117 where you will find information on contacting Kelloggs. They need to hear from you. Laura
I thought I had found a drink that was very high in fiber. I love the taste.

ery disapointed in kellogg for discontinuing
