Melitta has expanded its selection of single-serve products by introducing Melitta JavaJig, a reusable, single-serve Melitta filter system. The cup is BPA free and the paper filters are compostable, making JaveJig environmentally friendly. The filter system also allows you to adjust fill levels to taste based on your choice of coffee or tea.
– bonnie: This is in competition with Ekobrew that we featured late summer. The main difference it JavaJig requires filters.
I bought the 2 pack ekobrew and would put a small strainer with a coffee filter in it. You would be amazed at what I call coffee “dust” that is left in the filter. Two days ago I happened to see the javajig at wallymart for $5.99 and bought it (ekobrew was $22.00 at amazon) I’m so impressed with the javajig and now I don’t have the strainer/filter rig on top of my cup now and it was $16.00 cheaper!!
