New Haven’s 2nd Table will take place on Friday, August 17th! The first one took place on Orange Street earlier this summer just off of Chapel.
At the event, one hundred people will sit at a long table in the middle of one of downtown’s busiest streets (specific location to be announced by 8/10), which will be closed to traffic, to have a three-course, family style meal served from one of eight area restaurants – along with generous amounts of wine. IKEA has joined as a sponsor and will be adorning the table with all their newest furnishings, tableware and textiles.
Go with old friends, make new friends, it’s a fun evening of camaraderie in New Haven!
Tickets are on sale for $49.99 and can be purchased here: http://www.ouremptyspace.com/2nd-street-table-in-nhv/ Guests must be 21 and over and have valid ID. They expect a sell out, so if you’re interested – buy early! This event is organized by Danyel Aversanti of Our Empty Space, one of the initiators in town responsible for putting temporary stores in vacant retail spaces.
