Mixed Berry and Strawberry Banana Orange flavored smoothies made with Greek yogurt and sweetened with Stevia are now available from Yoplait.
To make the smoothies from this frozen product, just add 3/4 cup skim milk and blend turning a 4.5-ounce pouch into a 12-ounce serving. Each flavor contains 100-110 calories, 0 grams saturated fat (of 1.5 grams total), 45 milligrams sodium and 5 grams protein per 4.5-ounce pouch.
– bonnie: I wish they had sweetened this with sugar instead of stevia. As you may have read the Center for Science in the Public Interest gave stevia a “caution” rating, saying, “Just because a substance is natural does not mean that it is safe.”
Here I am watching The Biggest Loser and they are introducing Yoplait Smoothie as a breakfast food. I love Yoplait yogurt original. I too wish this just had sugar. I don’t have a weight problem and don’t like ‘substitutes’. I may give this smoothie a try but can’t promise I will.
