This year’s sixth annual Laramie Brewfest— a tradition of Jubilee Days. — held earlier this month, showcased 27 breweries that included local city ones such as the Library Sports Grille and Altitude Chophouse plus breweries coming statewide from Jackson, Casper, Pinedale, Saratoga and ones from Idaho and Colorado. Overall, about 70 types of beer were represented — Altitude Chophouse’s Mexican Chili Ale, Lindeman’s Framboise Lambic, Blue Moon, Shock Top and Odell.
Jubilee Days – the one-week event — brings people from across region. Events include a carnival, a Pancake Breakfast, Farmer’s Market, the Laramie Rodeo and street dances with live music.
Each year, Jubilee Day raises funds for the Downtown Laramie Business Association to help with town marketing and improvement projects. Next year’s Jubilee will be held the week of July 10 in honor of Wyoming Statehood Day.
