The Slugburger Festival will take place July 7 – July 9, 2011 in Corinth, Mississippi (at the Train Depot on Fillmore Street and the carnival by Trailhead Park at Cruise Street and Jackson Street).
Traditional slugburgers will be served. (If you’re wondering what a slugburger is: it’s patty made from a mixture of meat or pork and an inexpensive extender such as soybeans that is then deep fried in oil. For a more detailed explanation click here.)
The festival will also include the Happee Days Carnival, the music of Jesse Robinson and Buddy Jewell, many food and game vendors, a Slug Idol singing contest and more.
Admission prices are: Friday $5, Saturday $6 and Sunday $9. For more information, click here.
