Park Hyatt Chicago’s new restaurant NoMI Kitchen opened June 3rd. NoMI Kitchen is based on the idea that the center of the home is the kitchen, where family and friends gather – an everyday occasion place.
The new unique design presents the kitchen as the focal point, showcasing the culinary team. Rich, wooden tables in place of white tablecloths and contemporary tones of dark browns, creams and pops of color infuse the space with warmth and complement the original mosaic tile floors. A new artisanal cheese cave featuring imported selections is located in the Wine Cellar. NoMI Garden adds a new backdrop to its outdoor terrace with a 30 ft natural teak wood bar with a black granite countertop.
New Executive Chef Ryan LaRoche, Chicago native, former Executive Sous Chef of L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon Las Vegas oversees the 125-seat kitchen. Rooted in the high-quality ingredient driven dishes he has become known for, LaRoche’s menu celebrates the farmers, ranchers, cheese makers and artisans of the surrounding regions. The menu places an emphasis on the freshest ingredients and finest flavors; simple, creative dishes and a la carte offerings.
