SHARE offers the unique experience of cancer survivors, who combine current resources and knowledge with the support you’d get from a friend who’s been there. SHARE’s telephone support services, educational programs, support groups, and public-health initiatives empower patients and survivors to work through their feelings and fears, carefully consider their options, and take control of their health. Other companies are also selling PINK items to raise money for breast cancer. For instance:
Celebrate In Pink offers socially responsible partyware, designed by a breast cancer survivor. The collection includes dinner and dessert plates, lunch and beverage napkins (printed on recycled materials) as well as invitations, note cards and t-shirts. They donate 5% of their wholesale sales and 10% of online sales to non-profits who share the mission of providing financial support to women undergoing breast cancer treatment.
Ableplanet Linx audio offers a set of PINK foldable active noise canceling headphones, retailing for $149.99, with 10% of the proceeds donated to several breast cancer awareness funds, including the Susan G. Komen foundation. Ableplanet headphones have received prestigious awards in Audio, Communication and Wireless for the LINX Audio technology incorporated in the design. The headphones, also available in other colors (although only the PINK headphones provide the 10% donation for breast cancer) are helpful for avid computer users and gamers.”
