The Copper Beech Inn, known for its refined elegance and intimate New England style, received 5 Stars for its Copper Beech Restaurant in the June Issue of Hartford Magazine.

An Ivoryton Village landmark is known for offering exceptional cuisine, luxurious accommodations and a superb exteriorsetting.

This award continues a string of successes for Executive Chef Tyler Anderson, a rising star in Connecticut, with a 2009 win on Food Network show Chopped. Chef Anderson is committed to serving sustainable seafood, meats and vegetables that have been raised, foraged, farmed or produced within a 150-mile radius. Anderson and his team run a full charcuterie curing room and work with locally-raised heritage pork breeds.

I would hitchhike, if I had to, for most of the items on Anderson’s menu,” writes Spencer Caldwell in the review in Hartford Magazine. “And I would crawl over glass for his sweet potato gnocchi or his foie gras.
