The Crooked Knife is a casual reasonably priced pub that’s a fun place to meet for lunch or brunch, 
especially if you enjoy libations with your meal.
When I visited, they were offering a number of $10 options including a smaller 6-ounce burger, the perfect size for me. The burger came served on a roll spread with a sweet chili aioli, with romaine and a tomato slice along with chunky fries and money dish of cole slaw. My friend savored the meaty portobello “burger “topped with goat cheese, drizzled with balsamico and fresh arugula on a roll. Hers came with a hearty basket filled 
with perfectly cooked thin sweet potato fries ($13). With that we sipped a glass of a 2012 California Simply Naked Sauvignon Blanc $10.
I hear their brunch — $34 for an entree with bottomless drinks for 2 hours — is not to be missed. I’ll have to stop back to sample it.
